2.55 kg clothes.

2.55 kg clothes.

Today I got up a bit earlier than I usually do on a Saturday because I had a place to be.

The place was Northampton Guildhall and the occasion was the Preloved kilo sale.

Over 6 tons of clothes was on sale and lots of it was already ready on the clothes rack.

But they also fill up the racks during the day so there was plenty of possibilities to find a treasure.

When I got into the venue I was handed a clear plastic sack and quickly started to fill it up

In the hallway they had placed scales so you could check how much you had to pay, as it was £15/kilo.

On the first weighing I had exactly 3 kg but did not feel finished.

For the next weigh I was up to 4.5 kg and decided to leave some bits.

I got down to 2.55kg and decided I was done so I went to pay.

It was quite a large sack of clothes I brought home.
