Not enough time.

Yesterday I went to Birmingham.

I didn’t really plan anything, just to walk around and see what I found.

I wanted to see if I found anything nice to take photos of, and I did. My camera did not get much rest.

 Food and drinks:

Boston tea party cafe -I ordered their red berry ice tea, this comes in a cute kilner type glass and tasted good.

They have a large selection of cakes and also serves food.

When I walked past Sundaes gelato for the second time I couldnt help myself, just had to go in and order their watermelon sorbet. It was so tasty.

 Handel:

 Shopping:

From you walk into the train station and take the escalator up a level you are in Grand Central, a shopping centre.
Here you will find everything you need and there are plenty of restaurants if you should get hungry or thirsty.

There is also a small “street” with more shops that leads into Bullring, another shopping centre.

The shopping possibilities are so much better than in Northampton, I rediscovered a few shops that I remember from London but I had kind of forgot.

I was especially happy when I found my favourite shoe store, a real shoe heaven.

Irregular Choice have many special and beautiful shoes and they sell my favourite brand, Poetic License.

I just couldn’t spend all the time in a shopping centre so I went outside walking around a little also.

I didn’t have enough time so I, I wouldn’t be surprised if I book another trip here.

Birmingham

A few days ago I ordered a day trip to Birmingham.

I never been there before so it will be interesting to see what this city has to offer.

It takes about an hour by train from Northampton so it makes a perfect day trip.

So now I am sitting here studying Google maps to see what there is to do.

I heard that it is good for shopping but since I am saving up for a new photo camera, I am not planning on spending to much money.

Hopefully it will not rain so I can spend my time walking around looking at all the interesting things I can photograph.

Somebody have any recommendations?

New Years Resolutions.

At the start of a new year people always talk about new years resolutions.
Many want to quit smoking or exercise more.

This is what I want:

Get a job where I can practise what I have studied and speak and develop my English.
Work towards getting a place on my own.
Travel more. New York, Paris, Iceland are places I would like to visit. I would also like to see more of England.
Take more photos.
Start saving up some money.

A friend of mine posted this  on facebook and I thinking of trying it.
